*Just wanted to clarify that my last post was not meant to be a pity party, or negative. Being a PR girl, I am not used to the life of doing nothing. This is a total change of pace than what I am used to. Hey, it might even be good for me, you never know. I am actually very confident in everything that I have done while in college, and I know that it will pay off in the near future. As I go through the interviewing process, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a whole lot like dating. Every interview is like going on a date with someone. You’re getting to know each other better seeing if you’re a good fit for them, and if they’re a good fit for you. In the mean time, while you wait for the phone call to see if you got the job, you sit and wait by your phone waiting for it to go off. Sometimes you leave it for a few hours while you run errands, hoping that when you come back there will be THE message or email that you’ve been waiting for. Once the perfect match comes along and you get that phone call, the relationship begins. It’s funny how different situations in life can be so similar. It’s how you handle yourself in these situations that makes you who you are. If you get rejected from a job, it just makes you a stronger person and you learn what you need to do better for the next time. This is a very exciting, and emotional, process for anyone, and I am open to “date” as many companies or agencies as needed to find the right match.
